How and why sing it?
If our desire is to acquire wisdom, chanting the Gãyatri mantra is the Doorway.
The Gãyatri mantra acts on laziness, enthusiasm, knowledge. you will be full of good humor and joy. You will feel full of freshness and enthusiasm, all the time.
An amazing rapid transformation is to be expected. Gãyatri mantra has the reputation of transmuting heavy energies, personal and collective negative memories and acts on all previous negative karmas bringing immediate relief. It is believed to be the mother of the Vedas.
Singing the Gãyatri mantra or even listening to it in consciousness immediately brings a connection to universal knowledge, one really feels one with everything. It brings immediate Joy which purifies the human body.
Ideally one should repeat the Gãyatri mantra a minimum of 108 times a day, if in one go seems unattainable at the beginning, one can sing it in series of multiples of 9 like ( 36 times in the morning, 36 times at noon and 36 times in the evening).
It is essential to pronounce the mantra correctly in words and sounds. This mantra is sung with eyes closed in the awareness of the reality of each verse, each syllable. It is inevitable that you will feel a tingling surge throughout your body, originating at the base of the crown chakra and spreading along the Kundalini. Like champagne bubbles inviting you to Joy which manifest your vibratory elevation.
The song must be conscious and slow, We must try to perceive the music of the words so that their meanings awaken what is already in us.
